About the event
The Midwest Quantum Collaboratory (MQC) will hold its third annual "Entanglement" conference on August 5-6, 2024 at Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. The meeting has two complementary themes: creating new frontiers for entanglement applications and fostering university-industry-funding “entanglement” needed to create next-generation quantum-information science and engineering (QISE).
PROGRAM
A diverse array of programming is planned, including invited lectures, poster sessions, smaller breakout group discussions, panel discussions, and town-hall style meetings. MQC members will present their most recent QISE results and ideas (mostly as posters) on a broad range of topics, including established QISE systems as well as emergent QISE directions in semiconductors, ultrafast laser spectroscopy, nanotechnology, and quantum chemistry. In addition to posters, several QISE vision talks will be presented, and there will be ample time reserved for cross-sector and cross-discipline interactions between MQC members, students, companies, and funding agencies.

REGISTRATION AND POSTER ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Registration is open to faculty from MQC member institutions, their research groups, and invited external guests only. Registration is free and includes breakfast (8/5 and 8/6), lunches (8/5 and 8/6) and dinner (8/5).
We encourage all participants to present their most progressive QISE ideas in the form of posters. Contributions across a variety of fields and subdomains are appropriate, including (but not limited to) quantum computing, fundamental chemistry/physics for QISE, light-driven QISE, quantum photonics, novel quantum materials, quantum communications, quantum sensing, and open quantum systems.
